Perfect for UK winter and changing seasons due to the two interchangeable layers. Looking for a long time to find a warm waterproof outdoor coat that is reasonably priced, looks stylish and doesn’t resemble a child’s jacket which most others do as they are bright/fluorescent colours. I’m a UK6 and 5’2”

Columbia did not disappoint! I love this coat! I was looking for a coat that covers my bum a little; my other coat did not cover my tush and it got cold (haha). This one is great. I got the “beet” color. It’s really nice. Not too bright of a red color. To give you an idea on size… I’m 5’8″ and my measurements are 37-29-37. I also have broader shoulders. The Medium fit really nicely. A little snug around my shoulders, but I always have that issue. The Large wouldn’t been to big around.

Love this jacket! I hate to be cold and this combo is nice and toasty warm. The fit is more of a fitted look than other more poofy shapeless winter jackets. The jacket skims my hips a smidge more closely than I’d like but that is not the jackets fault (sigh). Construction is excellent. Tight stitches, quality fabric, everything you expect from Columbia. The color is beautiful. Really like the thumb hole/hand warmer sleeve (not sure what it’s called, obviously) that is attached at the wrist.

I had been eyeing up this coat ever since I saw it before the winter season. However I wasn’t paying the retail price of $220! After the season Amazon had it for half off retail. Very pleased – this is a perfect coat if you have a taller frame (5’ 8” or taller), as it provides coverage on the backside and to the higher thigh area. The liner coat is actually decent too. Sometimes they are too flimsy to be used by themselves. (However the liner coat does not have zippers on its pockets.) I am a true XL in other Columbia coats and this XL fits the same on me. I can wear a light sweater underneath and still have room to move. When wearing just the outer shell, I can wear a heavy sweater underneath since there is more room.

I bought this coat on amazon after trying it on in store at Bass Pro Shops. I fell in love with it in the store but of course didn’t want to pay full price if I could find it somewhere else cheaper. It’s a great, high quality, durable, warm coat. I love that it has a second layer that can be zipped in/ out. It’s waterproof. The only thing I’ve noticed is that it’s tighter in the shoulders than I remember when trying it on so if you have broader shoulders, that might be an issue for you. But if you zip out the second layer it fits great. Where I live, the weather doesn’t get too cold in the winter (at least not for me) so there have been a few times where I just wore the outer layer if I already had on a sweater or sweatshirt, I do get hot easily though. I also like how it has the thumb holes in the sleeves so if you’re wearing gloves you can get them right up to the jacket. I think it would be a great coat for really cold weather. The green color is beautiful, the perfect olive green coat. Overall, I’m happy about my purchase. I’m always pleased with Columbia, you can’t beat the quality for the price.

I love this coat so, so much. The plum color is gorgeous. There are two sets of pockets, both of which can be secured (one zippered, one with a snap) and they hold a ton of stuff. Storing a large phone, masks, hand sanitizer, gloves, etc is no problem with this coat. There’s also a fifth well-hidden pocket with a zipper and flap on the outside at the chest level. The inner lining is just gorgeously shiny when you have it zipped into the coat, and it is the only removable lining that I’ve ever seen that looks great when you wear it by itself (at which point it’s a fairly warm black quilted jacket with no hood). The fake fur hood looks lush and can be detached and reattached via buttons. The coat has an inner zipper lining, plus snaps, that go all the way up to the neck, and there are two additional elastic button fasteners that can seal the coat shut all the way to your chin. the inner jacket liner has elastic thumb bands so that the coat sleeves can be sealed tight over or under gloves. It’s just incredibly thoughtful, high-quality construction and it feels like it’s going to last forever.

Really nice jacket that separates out for different weather conditions. Fitting was perfect. Only bit that I feel let it down just a little was the furry collar could have been a bit more filled out as was very small. Amazing jacket though very well put together.

I love this jacket – it is warm, zippers and snaps work great. Love the double pockets. I love the 3 in 1. I wish I had a LRG inner jacket and MED outer jacket…?
I wear a Medium in nearly everything. But not Columbia. The “Active Fit” sizing is horrible!!! I tried it at a local store, then ordered here to get the color I wanted. I am 5’2″ 150 a bit wide at the ribs. I wanted to order the MEDIUM outer jacket which fit great except that the inner jacket was too tight at the ribs, though ok at the waist – making the MWD too tight. So I had to get the LARGE so the inner jacket fits comfortably and looks good, but the outer jacket is just too big! The arms are too long, shoulders to wide, hangs nearly to my knees. I roll it up, cinch it up, and wish that it fit better.
Columbia has this Active Fit which is a silhouette that fits close to the body.

Second time wearing it and the zipper is unaligned so I have to either pull it off over my head and mess with the zipper for 5 minutes to fix it or sit in it for 10 minutes to try and get it fixed. Tried giving the coat the benefit of the doubt because I loved my old coat, but I would have been better off not getting this coat.
