I am 6’5″ & pushing 22 stone (I know!). I struggle with ‘Big & tall’ as most presume that big means wide & not long…this is perfect. Ordered a 4XL & it feels just right. Great product, comfortable, stylish & delivered quick…will defo be buying some more.

I have very broad shoulders with a small gut. I’m 5’11 and 215lbs. This shirt was perfect in XL for me.This shirt fits perfectly. A little baggy around the midsection, just a little. Good arm length. Very Soft. It is not what I would call a skinny fit.
JC –
For people who says that this fit is too big. I don’t know if what they want is a fitting polo shirt or something. This ain’t for the skinny jean wearing boys. This is a mans shirt. I ordered a size smaller than what I normally used and even before washing it was somewhat fitting already. Now with just one wash its half an inch shorter on my arms and the shirt is too fitting for my liking. It also don’t crumple easily. Used it for 4 days on a trekking trip in Durango and held well. Without any damage even after a rugged abuse.
Summary: Buy your usual shirt size. Don’t buy a size smaller.

Joking aside, I like this shirt because the flannel is genuinely soft and the price was right (and it was available in a tall size, which I need for a shirt to fit me properly). When lounging around the house in the cooler months I like to wear an unbuttoned long-sleeve shirt over a t-shirt and this has become my go-to shirt for that. However…
It’s a thin flannel and no warmer than most of my other long sleeve button up shirts. It’s just softer than most of them.
I feel this is relevant in part because they use the word “camp” in the name, like you’ll be enjoying a roaring campfire in the winter wearing this in lieu of a coat thanks to its extra warmth. Pretty sure you won’t do that. With that said, I also doubt you’ll find a thicker flannel shirt of this softness for this price. Guess I’ll stick with this, this winter, and shop for a thicker one next year. It’s a good choice for early autumn when it’s merely too cool to run around in short sleeves.
I seriously thought about only giving it three stars since it doesn’t really deliver on what a flannel shirt ought to in the warmth department. Isn’t that what you buy a flannel shirt for? Then I considered that I’m once again wearing it, albeit with the heat turned up higher than I’d like, and…Fine! Have your four stars! But it ain’t no camp shirt.

I really liked this shirt when it arrived. The size ran a little large – which I expected, so I ordered a size Large and it fit perfectly and was very comfortable. I’m only giving it 3 stars because of how much it has shrunk after a single wash. The attached photos show one that was unwashed and one that was washed – both size Large. I followed the washing instructions on the tag and now it’s about an inch shorter, an inch narrower, and the sleeves are almost 3 inches shorter than its original size – I’m afraid to wash it again.
Frankenstein’s Mom –
My husband loved this shirt, but after only wearing it 3 times, the seam at the cuff and sleeve has a 2 inch hole.

While this is a good looking shirt, a gift for my son in law, after one wash the shirt shrank so much he couldn’t even put it on.
To truly understand this you have to know my daughter. She obsessed over directions and rules. Cold wash, tumble dry low heat? If the tag said it, she followed it to the letter.
It’s frustrating to buy what you think is a quality product only to have it rendered unusable so quickly. I wouldn’t buy one of these unless you line dry your clothes. Welcome to the 1960’s

The shirt looked great, but the size of the collar told me I’d ordered the wrong size. I sent it back and they refunded quickly. Thanks!

I bought one of these shirts several months ago in the Shale Plaid style and was satisfied with the overall quality, so recently decided to purchase another in the Cedarwood Plaid style. I noticed on the label that the Cedarwood Plaid shirt was made in India, while the Shale Plaid shirt was made in China. After one wash/dry cycle following the directions on the label, I found that the Cedarwood Plaid’s fabric had pilled much more than the Shale Plaid shirt had after multiple washings. Another thing I noticed is that the backside reinforcement stitching for the top corners of the shirt pocket on the Cedarwood Plaid shirt was done using small pieces of scrap fabric that were already unraveling. Just seemed like a very messy and low quality way of doing it. The same backside stitching on the Shale Plaid shirt was done much more neatly and looks strong.
The Chinese made shirt seems to be much higher in overall quality than the shirt made in India. I don’t know if that’s going to be the case with all of the shirts in this line. I ended up buying a fuzz remover to get rid of the pilling on the new shirt and had to empty the collection compartment twice. After ironing it, it now looks decent, but it took more time and effort and extra expense than it should have for a $30 shirt, IMHO. I think Legendary Whitetails should follow up on their quality control more closely.

I have the gray in a 3X, and I’m between 6′ and 6’1″ at 300# with a 44 waist and a bit of belly, and after the first wash this fits comfortably as expected. This is a good “no-tuck” camp shirt with well-stitched seams, corduroy neck and sleeves, and stitched-down button column. It is a better product than a “Walmart” shirt I saw someone compare it to here – heavier for one thing and better stitched. After the first wash I lost just enough in the sleeves so that it fits as expected, but out of the box it was somewhat large so I did experience a little shrinkage. For the price it is a good value, and if it doesn’t pill it will be a great value over time.
