Living in SoCal, I just got a chance to wear this shirt this weekend. I must say it was a let down. As far as the craftsmanship, the shirt seems fine. The problem is that it runs very large. It fits, and worst, looks like a sack on me. I’m an active outdoors guy, but I am not a thin person. This seems as though it were cut for a heavy set person. Typically, shirts like this shrink after the first wash; even so, it is still too big.
Because of this, this shirt will not be worn often, if at all. I’m hoping the retailer will allow me to exchange it for a smaller cut shirt.

My first impression when I opened the package and saw the shirt was that I really liked the color. When I unpacked the shirt and unfolded it the material seemed somewhat thin and I discovered a hole in the shirt. When I tried the shirt on the sizing/fit of the shirt was odd. The main body of the shirt seemed sized on the small side. The sleeves, at least the upper part seemed a bit loose. If not for the hole and the odd fit , I would have been happy, but the shirt was returned.

Me gusto mucho la tela y el color, en mi caso soy talla M y me queda un poco grande, tambien queda un poco mas abajo de la cintura, pero para mi esta bien ya que uso secadora y encoge la ropa un 5%. El pedido llego en el tiempo prometido en muy buenas condiciones.

So I’m 6’5 and 250lbs, I thought an XL tall would be a safe bet, but this thing is long, like a ladies night gown. Like I could wipe my butt with the tail of the thing. I’ve tried drying it to shrink it up but no luck so far. I really dig the style, I just need 2-3 inches less on the waist. Sleeves are a great length. I know how hard finding a good fit is for me, so if you’re like pro basketball tall this will be a good fit for you at 6’7 or 6’8

I’ve read plenty of negative reviews about this shirt and I have to ask myself WTF. The shirt I received is their “Barley” colored Maverick Slub Henley. It’s great in every way. All the seams are surged which gives the shirt a great look and feel. The Barley color is a copper brown with fine streaks of white through out. This shirt is proportioned perfectly for me. I’m a XXL. The cloth is a 80/20 cotton polyester blend that’s “SEXY SOFT’ to the touch. (my wife’s words) It’s of medium density, That’s heavier than a Tee shirt and lighter than a Thermal shirt. The very top button hole is sewn horizontally while all the others are sewn vertically. This lets the collar expand around your neck with movement if you choose to button up all the way. I, and my wife think this shirt is well worth the money. Quality material, manufacturing, fit and feel. A total home run in every way. This is the first time that’s ever happened to me and I’m sixty. I’ll be buying more in this fabric and style.

I’ve just bought two shirts – the same item and size but different colors.
But somehow one of them is much bigger than another one and doesn’t fit me at all.
I’m very disappointed and not sure I’ll do any other purchases of this brand.

Looks nice, feels like its well made. I’m 6’5″ and normally order a xxl to compensate for the length of most shirts. Since I read that these run a little big I figured I would order a XL-Tall and see what shakes out. Finally I don’t look like I’m wearing a huge shirt, it fits my body better then a XXL while remaining long enough to hang right. So yes, I like it. It is less yellow looking then the photo but still a nice warm looking color.

Well made, nice weight (heavier than a cotton T, lighter than a sweatshirt or flannel shirt), and it actually gets compliments. “Nice shirt dude!”
So far the stitching is holding together through several washes.
Note: it says LEGENDARY on the back, high up near the neck, and down near the bottom hem, on one side, there is a small leather brand tag. I actually found it a bit distracting at first, as my hand would go to pull down on the shirt it would come across this object that didn’t quite feel right in that place. But I’ve gotten used to it. In none of the product pictures can it been seen. I’ll post a picture.

The fabric is very thin, which I knew from other reviews. That’s what I wanted so that’s fine. But the workmanship is crappy. Seams aren’t straight and bunch up. Plus it’s NOT 100% cotton as stated in the listing. It’s 80% cotton / 20% polyester. Definitely not worth the high price.
