I made the mistake of thinking this was Asian sizing and ordered a medium…WHOOPS! It was ginormous! I will be returning. I then ordered it in my true size of XS and it fits perfectly. This is a heavy denim, terrific quality and construction. The belt loops are a bit higher up but still looks amazing. I am 5’9″ and 109 lbs. with smaller bust size. I cannot wait until fall to wear it. NOT a summer dress for hot climates. Highly recommend.

I like this jacket; it’s one of those funky creative designs that sometimes randomly come out of East Asian fashion. The denim is good quality; has a good amount of stretch to it, but is also fairly heavy and decently warm. This is a *long* jacket, especially for shorter folks; I’m 5’6″ and the XS size comes all the way down to my knees when unbuttoned (mid-thigh when fully buttoned). I personally don’t mind this, since I’m fond of oversized jackets, but it’s definitely closer to a trench coat style than a “jacket”. Reminds me of my lab coat.
Negatives: the buttons are low-quality metal (not even sure they’re fully metal), and they rattle with movement. Sounds kind of like a pukka shell necklace. It takes some getting used to. They’re also overly large for the button holes, so buttoning is an onerous process that I don’t undertake lightly. It’s really just easier to wear it unbuttoned all the time rather than struggle. I’ll probably have a tailor replace them with more functional ones at some point.
The included belt is cute, but its buckle is incredibly flimsy and barely functional. I’d need to replace that as well to make it worth using. Fortunately, the belt loops are large enough to accommodate most other types of belts, if one were so inclined to swap.
Lastly, the pockets aren’t particularly ergonomic. It’s hard to reach into the breast pockets because there’s not enough space between the top flap and the opening (the flap keeps getting in the way); they’re also higher on the chest than a typical breast pocket, so I find the reaching awkward. Side pockets are also positioned too high to be comfortable; they’re also shallow and flimsy, and stuff tends to fall out (not comfortable putting my phone in there). Again, a tailor could easily fix this, but it’s just one more function of the garment that’s not really in working order out of the box.
Still, even given those quirks, this is a unique design that looks pretty cool and seems like it’ll hold up decently well over time. I’d give it 5 stars if it wasn’t for the buttons; the other negatives are sort of expected with all women’s clothing in general. Overall I’m pretty happy – bets on weird stuff like this don’t usually pay off so well.

I really like this dress/jacket, it is pretty thick. The belt buckle wood not stay so that I will have to replace or you can wear whatever belt you like. I am a size 12 with 38 DD so I ordered the xl and it fit great. The item did kinda flare weird in certain areas bc I have a flat but, however it is a great dress up or down item, I can see myself wearing this with leggings and tshirt or jeans boots and shirt….I would order it again……

I love how long this jacket is and how it fits. It can be worn alone as a dress or in layers. I’m 5’8 and ordered a medium. It has a nice stretch. The belt is just ok, but isn’t the focal part.

This dress is so awesome and well made! It is soft, the fabric is thick, and it is awesome! You can dress up or dress down. It is stretchy too so it is comfortable. Buy it – you will not regret it!!

I ordered a med. I am 5″9 160, Very nice material has a good stretch to it, and it LONG ENOUGH to my knees which is what I wanted. the belt buckle feels a little bit on the cheap side which for the price it should be nicer. The sleeves hit me right at my wrist. Its a good heavy Jean Dress/Jacket and is very flattering, I have a belly and it still give me a waist. I would buy this again in black If they had it and I do recommend for tall gals.

This dress/coat is perfect. I’ve been looking everywhere for a fitted denim dress that hits at or below the knee and this is perfect. The denim is stretchy and a great quality. The sizing is true to US size so order what you normally wear. I’m size 14/16 and I ordered the XXL. It fits a little big in the waist but hugsmy curves everywhere else and looks amazing with the belt. Definitely would buy again and highly recommend. I’ll add pics when i wear it.
Update: I wore the dress for the very first time today. Before I even left the house, a button had broken and fallen off. The dress was not tight or pulling so I’m confused as to why it broke. My only conclusion is that, perhaps, it’s poorly made. Reducing it by 2 stars bc of this.

Even though the jacket is a bit tight, it’s very stretchable and still looks great on. I weigh 160 lbs. and ordered a large. It’s a quality material and lays nicely. I will be sure to always hang to dry so there’s no shrinkage. The belt loops are a bit high on the waist but I took it out completely and it still looks great. I can button it even though it’s just a bit tight but the button holes are a bit small and it’s more of a hassle and again, it looks great just as it is. I’m 5’6″ and it lands right below my knees and the sleeves come to my first knuckle on my thumb which is where sleeves should typically land. I love this jacket and look forward to fall weather so I can wear it!
